Inquiring minds want to know, is Silas Randall Timberlake going to be an only child? Ask the 36-years old musician and he’ll say NO. Justin Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, 35, are eager to expand their family so WHEN Justin?
In a recent interview Timberlake expands on the big question and here’s what he had to say, “I want to have as many kids as we can, if I’m being honest.”
He goes on to talk about when he and Jessica first welcomed their 3-years old Silas Randall he was practically incompetent, “I’ve never felt more inept in my life. You wake up and all of a sudden there’s this human being you’re responsible for.”
Parenthood can be challenging but also rewarding and can dig up the great moments and bad ones from your own childhood. The actor opens up about his own experience, “Because when you have kids, all of a sudden you’re faced with your own childhood, good and bad.” And the tremendous worry every parent has, “Am I going to completely mess this kid up?”
And his philosophy on flourishing as a parent, simply don’t give up, “I feel like the success of parenthood is feeling like I failed all day today, but I get to wake up tomorrow and do it again….and hopefully, they turn out to be a good human being.”
And Justin Timberlake jokes that he is no longer boss and his son Silas is, “already running the show.”
Biel and Timberlake can hardly recall what life was like before they became parent’s leaving them wondering how they spent their downtime.
Justin explains, “Everybody tells you that your life is going to change and you’re like, whatever I got it. My wife and I….when we have a night off and we get into bed and we sit down to watch a movie or something, we’re like, ‘What did we do before this? Did we go out to dinner? Were we at a bar? What did we do before this?”
